Strategy & Roadmaps

From multi-year strategy to this quarter’s milestones, with a memory.

The problem

Roadmaps live in slides. Dates move silently, dependencies are discovered at the retrospective, and nobody can say what changed since the plan was approved, or why.

What you get

  • Strategy frameworks: strategies, pillars, and objectives with owners and approval workflow
  • A KPI catalog per objective (unit, target, direction, cadence), published to Insight for actuals tracking
  • Initiatives with owners, teams, funding lines, and status roll-ups
  • Multi-lane roadmap timelines: a lane per team or program, milestones placed by date
  • Typed milestone dependencies with violation detection: schedule a successor before its predecessor and Horizon warns you and demands confirmation
  • Baselining with enforced change discipline: once a baseline is approved, every date or status change requires a recorded reason, kept in the change log and audit trail
  • Compliance gates: a milestone linked to a Guard gate cannot be completed while the gate is red, enforced server side
  • Scenario planning: copy a roadmap, model the what-if, and diff it against the plan of record, with variance and milestone exports as CSV and PDF
Connected by design

Horizon defines the KPIs that Insight tracks, carries the gates that Guard enforces, links initiatives to the SOPs in Playbook and the training in Edge that make them real, and shows the supplier-owned milestones that Gauge scores.

Proof point

One demo pass shows the chain: a slipped milestone flags its dependent release, shows variance against baseline with the recorded reason, and updates the executive KPI view. That chain is the product.
